My Love for Etsy..

just keeps growing!! I LOVE buying stuff that is handmade. There is just something about knowing that this piece of jewlery, art, you name it, was made by someones own hands and a lot of the time, made just for you. I have always seen these scrabble tile pendants, and wasnt sure what to think of them. But then I saw it. One I KNEW my MIL would LOVE. She is a sucker for all things that have to do with her being a Mom. I can't wait to see what she is like as a Grandma. She lives for it. I figured, hey, even if it sucks, I'm not out that much and she will love it anyway. Well, I was wrong..

HomeStudio on Etsy did a fantastic job. It looks like it could be sold in a cute little boutique that would charge 1000x more than what I spent on it. I know that she will adore it. I know I will be ordering more from them in the future. I just went back and looked at all of their options, and OMG I could pick out about 10 I want for myself.  I would definately recommend trying out HomeStudio if you are in the market for some Scrabble Tile Pendants.

If its made with Oreos, it has to be good, right?

I hope so!! I was reading on a message board today about some easy desserts. Someone mentioned these..

They look so good. I think they be my reward if I get through copying these notes for my finals. They look so simple to make, and if they are as good as I hope, I will be making them for our Christmas activities.
The best part is all you need is:

I got this from a girl on the interwebz who got it from http://picky-palate.com/2010/12/06/brownie-covered-oreos/

I hope you enjoy and if they are good, send some my way!!

If they only knew..

I wish my dogs knew how much I love them. How much we give up for them. How I would do just about anything for them. I wish that they could get along for me. Thats all I want. To go back to the days of us lounging together on the couch and going for car rides to the park.
Instead, I am stuck being scared of being around them at the same time. They each tethered to a couch, when I am not shuffling them around for potty breaks. They haven't been able to have the zoomies with each other. I wish they knew how much I miss that.
I want to know what I did to fail them. I want to make it better. I want to be able to love my dogs again. I wish they knew that I hate how they have to be seperated. I hope they know that I am doing all of this for them.

It's starting to look a lot like CHRISTMAS?!

Seriously.. Already? I feel like we JUST opened up presents and packed up the tree. How is it almost time for black friday shopping, present wrapping, tree decorating, cookie baking and lots and lots of food? It just does not seem real!! Lets not forget the one thing I always forget- Christmas cards!!

I really do aim to be one of those perky little do-it-all wives, but lets get real here. I am lucky I get myself out of bed in the morning and dressed in something remotely decent and to class on time. Tack on work in the afternoon, dogs that need attention, a husband who wants dinner and my insane need to want to make 90% of our christmas presents this year...

Then I remembered, SHUTTERFLY!! I love that company! I did my wedding albums on there and they turned out great! So maybe if I can manage to get a few pictures taken of myself (that I can actually stand), I will actually get around to making some. Maybe my 25th christmas is the one that I will get it all right..

They are making it even easier on you now, if you have kids (or dogs in my case) you can pack them down to the local mall and have your pictures taken there. For around $30 you can have a few pictures, and a CD that you can upload to Shutterfly to use on your Christmas cards.. and- here is the best part- they are even throwing in a gift card to Shutterfly. I mean, if I don't get it right this year, well, I am just never going to get it..

Welcome, Welcome, Step Right In!

Just wanted to take some time to introduce myself. Where to begin?

Hi! I'm K. Yea, its short for something else, but we don't need to get into that right now. I am a 25 year old that is not so new to the south. I was born and raised in a great little state that boarders the Atlantic Ocean.

Not long after I have moved down here, about 2 years, I married my loving husband.  I have recently decided to go back to college, after a two and a half year break.  We have 6 animals (2 dogs and 4 cats), our "tiny terrorists". We have decided to add to our family through Foster to Adoption. We should be finished with these classes soon and should hopefully have a 2 legged kid running around soon.

I hope to keep you entertained while giving you a little peak into my wonderfully crazy life, that I wouldn't have any other way... most days.
